Podium Developments presents a special one-night-only fundraiser: The Wonder Beers
The men behind Podium Developments lost an amazing friend and Queen’s Players lost a dedicated fan in Nathan Cowan 10 years ago to a tragic car accident. Now we have joined together in his honour to stage an amazingly fun fundraising event benefiting the Nathan Cowan Memorial Award.
Presented by Podium Developments and staged by Queen’s Players Toronto, The Wonder Beers is a brand now one act show from QPT which will serve as the feature performance for this special one-night-only fundraiser. The Wonder Beers will be a classic QPT one act mini show complete with all the hilarity and hijinks you’re used to... plus, there will be poutine and loads of beer (and wine and other drinks too). So come on out, and help us support a great cause - the Nathan Cowan Memorial Award - which is awarded every year to a deserving student at Queen’s University!
Similar to QPT’s Save the Tranzac production, The Wonder Beers will be made up of a series of sketches with the underlying themes of “growing up” and “beer” joining these sketches together into a recognizable whole.
